The funding
US$607,000 是第一期的金額，閉關房、上師房、Grand Café、 水利與整地，就是下面那張表上的四項。這不是整個園區的總價: 金剛亥母殿(Vajrayogini)、教學大殿與後續各期都在這個數字之外。 表上的每一項都取高標估算。現在募的是其中最小、也最急的一筆。
US$607,000 is what Phase I costs, the cottages, the teachers' cottages, the Grand Café, and the water and terracing work: the four lines in the table below. It is not the price of the whole campus. The Vajrayogini temple, the teaching hall, and every later phase sit outside this figure. Every line is costed at the high estimate. What is being raised now is the smallest and most urgent slice of it.

The timetable: when the funds actually have to be there
有一個限制條件會把所有排程往前推：台灣匯款到尼泊爾需要審查兩個月。 也就是說，收齊的日期必須比付款日再早兩個月。
One constraint moves every other date forward: a remittance from Taiwan to Nepal takes two months to clear. Whatever the payment date is, the money has to be collected two months before it.

所以這個冬天就是那段時間。 在瑪南，施工季只到十月；春天才到位的錢，匯到尼泊爾已經是夏天，那一年就蓋不了多少。
Which is why this winter is the window. The building season in Manang ends in October; money that arrives in spring only clears in Nepal by summer, and that year is largely lost.

估價單金額 US$6,115.55，加上場勘、監工、當地監工薪資，這一期抓 US$10,000。 每一層護持都對得上估價單上的實際工項。
The bill of quantities comes to US$6,115.55. With the site visit, supervision and the local site supervisor's wages, this round is set at US$10,000. Every giving tier maps to a real line on that document.

要紙本收據的話，年度捐款收據會在每年四月底前寄出。 如果選擇由我們代為上傳國稅局，就不另外寄紙本。
If you want a paper receipt, the annual donation receipt is posted by the end of April each year. If you would rather we file the record with the tax authority on your behalf, no paper receipt is sent.
