瑪南的故事跨越世代。但我們回頭看歷史，不是為了建立一座紀念館， 而是想知道：那些曾經活在家庭、工作與日常裡的修行，今天還能如何繼續？ 現在主持這件事的是噶奇美多傑仁波切，瑪瑟家族在瑪南的第三代， 2019 年由怙主直貢澈贊法王委任。

The story of Manang crosses generations. But we return to history not to build a monument. We return to ask how a way of practice once lived within family, work and ordinary life can continue today. The one carrying it now is GarTul Chimi Dorjee Rinpoche, the third generation of the Mase family in Manang, appointed to lead by His Holiness the Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche in 2019.

仁波切說，人們可以透過歷史、傳承，以及千年延續的加持產生連結。 這份傳承進入家族，如同一份代代承接的遺產。但真正重要的，不是證明「我們是誰」， 而是那些人如何生活。

Rinpoche speaks of connection through history, lineage and blessings carried across generations. This inheritance came into the family like a heritage. What matters is not proving who the family was, but how those people lived.

尊敬，是從一個人的存在裡長出來的。 Respect grows out of how a person is.

仁波切談到家族先輩時說，他們並不熱衷宣稱自己的身分，也不要求別人給予尊敬。 他們以自己的存在、清淨的工作與修持得到尊敬。佛法也因此不只屬於寺院。 它可以存在於家庭、孩子、工作與所有生活的混亂裡。 Earlier generations did not seek recognition through titles. Rinpoche describes respect as something earned through presence, pure work and practice. Dharma therefore did not belong only to monasteries. It could live alongside household life, children, work and everyday complexity.

一個非常簡單的人。

A very simple human being.

仁波切形容 Papa 仁波切是一位 Tulku，卻沒有把這個身分看得很重要。 他養育孩子，也照顧祖父瑜伽士。沒有太多抱怨。只是簡單地生活、幫忙，帶著滿足。 那份修行沒有在人與人之間製造距離，反而讓整個社區都能感到親近。

Rinpoche describes Papa Rinpoche as a Tulku who did not make much of that identity. He raised children and helped his grandfather, the yogi, living simply and with satisfaction. Spiritual life did not create distance from the community. People could feel close.

現在，輪到第三代。

Now it is the third generation.

前兩代已經離開。仁波切說，自己彷彿被放進了這個位置。 在直貢澈贊法王的指導與願心下，他開始承接瑪南的工作。他看到兩件事： 我們這一代，以及下一代。

The previous two generations have passed. With the guidance and aspiration of His Holiness the Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche, Rinpoche began taking up the work of Manang. He sees two responsibilities: our generation, and the generation to come.

「去為瑪南做點事情。」

“Go do some work for Manang.”

仁波切原本沒有打算成為一個做計畫的人。一次短暫停留， 讓他感受到環境、那裡的愛，以及土地本身的加持。後來噶千仁波切對他說： 去為瑪南做點事情。也鼓勵他：Stretch your limbs. Stretch your heart. 這份工作因此不只是建設任務，它也是修行的一部分。

Rinpoche never intended to become someone who ran projects. A short visit allowed him to feel the environment, the love, and the blessing of the land. Later, Garchen Rinpoche encouraged him: Go do some work for Manang. And: Stretch your limbs. Stretch your heart. The project became more than construction. It became part of practice.
