瑪南承接的不只是一段家族歷史。在這裡，修行曾經存在於家庭、工作、土地與每天的生活裡。 仁波切希望這份傳承不是被保存成過去，而是重新成為今天的人可以親身經驗的東西。

Manang carries more than a family history. Here, practice once lived alongside household life, work, land and the demands of every day. Rinpoche does not want this inheritance to remain in the past. He wants it to become something people today can experience for themselves.

建築不是答案。它是一個平台。

The buildings are not the answer. They are a platform.

我們蓋的不是一個讓人遠離生活的地方，而是一個可以停下來，重新與自己連結的地方。 仁波切描述了一條很簡單、也很深的路。

We are not building a place to escape from life. We are creating conditions where a person can stop and reconnect with themselves. Rinpoche describes a movement that is both simple and profound.

仁波切希望佛法回到一種活生生的、會呼吸的、可以親身經驗的生命。 它可以從很簡單的地方開始：感受身體的緊繃，學會放鬆，看見情緒，認出覺知。 不是逃離生活，而是在生活裡，不再一直離開自己。

Rinpoche speaks of Dharma becoming living, breathing, experiential life. It can begin somewhere very simple: feel tension in the body, learn to relax, see emotion, recognize awareness. Not by escaping life, but by learning not to constantly leave yourself within it.

一個願景，需要可以承載它的空間。

A Vision needs spaces that can carry it.

瑪南的建築不是彼此分離的工程項目。每一個空間，都回答一個實際的修持與生活需求。

The buildings at Manang are not separate construction projects. Each one answers a practical need of practice and daily life.

為什麼先從 Grand Café 開始？因為它是一個規模適合、可以完成， 也可以驗證整套施工方式的第一個 pilot building。現址已有一座 retreat cottage， 可以在既有基礎上活化與擴建。它也讓我們先與當地工班建立工作方式， 累積高山施工與現場管理經驗，再進入後續閉關房與更大型的建築。

Why begin with the Grand Café? Because it is a manageable first building that can be completed and used to test the larger construction process. An existing retreat cottage already stands on the site, allowing the project to begin through adaptive reuse and expansion. It also gives us a place to establish working methods with local crews and gain practical experience in high-altitude construction and site management before moving into retreat houses and larger buildings.

更重要的是，它解決一個已經存在的需求： 瑪南目前沒有符合現代標準、足以支援未來團體閉關的廚房與餐飲空間。

Most importantly, it solves a need that already exists: Manang currently lacks a modern kitchen and dining facility suitable for future group retreats.

瑪南將以工程節點持續記錄：照片、日期、工程進度、支出、對應估價項目、下一步。 現場將由當地合作人員負責日常工程紀錄與回報。我們希望支持者看到的，不只是募款開始時的故事， 也能一路看到它如何真正成為土地上的建築。

Manang will document each construction milestone through photographs, dates, progress, expenditure, the corresponding estimate or BoQ reference, and the next step. Local partners on site will support ongoing records and reporting. We want supporters to see more than the story at the beginning of a campaign; they should be able to follow how that story becomes a building on the land.

先讓少數人，真正做深。

First, let a few people go deep.

仁波切對瑪南的想像，不是先把活動做大，而是先培養少數真正實修、真正理解的人。 個人短期閉關、季節修持、身體與覺知的訓練，以及未來更深入的修持，都從同一個原則開始。

Rinpoche's Vision for Manang does not begin by making programs large. It begins by allowing a small number of people to practice deeply and genuinely understand. Personal retreat, seasonal practice, embodied awareness and future deeper practices all begin from the same principle.

把一個願景，慢慢蓋進土地裡。

Building a Vision into the land, one step at a time.

Manang will not be completed all at once. It will grow through milestones that can be seen, completed and accounted for. A kitchen. A roof. A few rooms where someone can truly retreat. A place where a person can become quiet. Together, they begin to form the platform Rinpoche describes: a place to reconnect, accept, adjust, and return to life with greater harmony.
